This week Sunday, January 28th through Saturday, February 3rd is Catholic Schools Week. At St. Peter’s we extend our celebration of Catholic Schools week, for one additional day with the annual Monsignor Eyraud Mass and Alumni Day.
Dear Parishioners; Today the Church begins a semi-continuous reading of the Gospel of Mark. For these few weeks before Lent, we will hear of Jesus’ activities in and around Galilee. In Mark’s Gospel, Jesus begins his ministry by calling four Apostles—changing the direction of their lives.
Dear Parishioners; We have returned to Ordinary Time in the Church calendar. In about a month we will begin the season of Lent on Ash Wednesday, which is on February 14th this year.
Dear Parishioners; HAPPY NEW YEAR! We have entered a new year. Can you believe it; it’s 2018. How many of us remember when we began the new century in 2000? Looking back, it seems so long ago. As the new year begins and may God continue to shed His Light upon all of us. As we face the new year, with new opportunities, challenges, hopes, and dreams, may we always continue to rely on God’s grace and blessings. Remember, God loves each one of us unconditionally.
