Today, the Church celebrates the Solemnity of All Saints. The Church remembers all those women and men, our relatives and friends, who have gone to their eternal reward. The Church is a living entity transcending time and space and so we are joined with the saints and they with us as we strive to live lives that witness to our faith. Placing our hope in God and striving to lead virtuous lives, we look toward salvation and eternal life, and are reminded that we are called to be saints.
