Catholic Schools Week concludes here at St. Peter with the annual St. Peter School Alumni Mass and Gumbo. I am always impressed how many alumni of St. Peter School turn out to celebrate the Mass and eat a delicious bowl of Gumbo. It is a good way to reconnect with classmates, friends, and other alumni.
Congratulations to Missy Aucoin Becnel, class of 1994 as the recipient of the St. Peter School Distinguished Graduate Award for 2020. Missy is a third generation of her family attending St. Peter School. She states that she recognizes the values gained from her Catholic education at St. Peter School. Once again, congratulations Missy for all that you do for St. Peter School.
St. Peter School new student registration begins on Monday. For ninety (90) years St. Peter School has been educating the youth of the River Parish area.
The second collection this weekend is for St. Peter School.
The monthly Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament will be on Wednesday, February 5 th . Exposition begins at 1:00 P.M. and concludes with Benediction at 6:00 P.M. For those who are able, would you consider spending time in prayer before the Blessed Sacrament.
The Knights of Columbus in the ReserveLaPlace-Norco area will have an OPEN HOUSE on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at Ascension of Our Lord School. It is a time for families to come together to mix, mingle, and learn how the Knights of Columbus can benefit your family and community.
