As we conclude Catholic Schools Week, the annual St. Peter School Alumni and Friends Reunion will be on Saturday, February 3, 2024. The celebration will begin with all alumni and friends of St. Peter School attending the 5:00 P.M. Vigil Mass, where the Distinguished Graduate will be introduced.
CONGRATULATIONS to Mr. Joel Ocmand, Sr., the 2024 Distinguished Graduate of St. Peter School. Joel is a 1971 graduate of St. Peter. Throughout his life, he has been an advocate for the special needs children of St. John the Baptist Civil Parish. He is a member of the Msgr. Eyraud Knights of Columbus and a member of the Archbishop Blenk 318 Assembly of the Fourth Degree. Joel has held various positions on the local as well as the state level of the Knights of Columbus. In St. Peter Parish, he is the coordinator for the Thanksgiving Baskets as well as the Christmas Giving Tree and food baskets for the needy of our community. Thank you, Joel, for all that you do for St. Peter Parish and beyond.
The Second Collection this weekend will be for St. Peter School.
Lent is around the corner. In today’s bulletin is the Lenten schedule. Please keep it in a handy place so that you can refer to it for the various times of Masses, confessions, Mission, etc.
Don’t forget to sign up for the Jesus and the Eucharist Study. Sign-up sheets are available at all the entrances to the church. The sessions begin on Monday, February 19th. You can choose either a morning session or an evening session.
The Building Maintenance Collection will be the weekend of February 10th and 11th .
