4th Sunday of Advent

Dear Parishioners,

We enter the Fourth Week of Advent in which we experienced a season of waiting—a season of preparation. For three weeks we have been anticipating the glorious day that is quickly approaching— the birth of Jesus the Christ at Christmas. Let us break from all the hustle and bustle that threaten to overwhelm the true meaning of this holy event and share in the pure joy of Mary and Elizabeth, two mothers expecting their first children, who in today’s Gospel exult in each other’s blessedness.

The second collection this weekend is for the Christmas flowers decorations.

The Mass schedule for the Christmas season flyer is included again in today’s bulletin. Please keep it handy for the Mass schedule.

The Christmas Eve Mass will be on Friday evening at 5:00 P.M. and Mass on Christmas Day will be at 8:30 A.M. Sunday, December 26 th is the Feast of the Holy Family. Mass will only be on Sunday at 8:00 A.M. and 11:00 A.M. There will be no Vigil Mass. Any Mass celebrated on Christmas must be Christmas.
