26th Sunday in Ordinary Time

Dear Parishioners;

Many thanks to the Evangelization Committee for sponsoring the Family Day Picnic. We could not have asked for a more “perfect” day. The weather was beautiful. Thanks to all the volunteers who prepared the food and to those who help serve the food. Also thanks to the local businesses who donated to St. Peter’s Family Day. Thanks to all the parishioners who came out to enjoy each other’s company and fellowship on Family Day. It was a successful day for our St. Peter Family.

The second collection this weekend is for the Church Roof.

The month of October begins on Tuesday. It is a month dedicated to our Blessed Mother Mary and the Rosary. I invite our families to pray the Rosary each day during the month of October. If you can’t say the five decades, then perhaps you could pray at least one decade each night as a family.

Our monthly Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament will be on Wednesday, October 2 nd . Adoration begins at 1:00 P.M. and concludes with Benediction at 6:00 P.M. I invite all those who can, to spend some time in Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.

The Blessing of Pets will be on Saturday, October 5th at 10:30 A.M., at the rear of the church parking lot.

St. Peter School Fest will be on Saturday, October 5th beginning at 11:00 A.M. and concluding at 11:00 P.M. Please see the church or school website for activities and schedules.

The second collection next weekend will be for the Building-Maintenance Fund.
