25th Sunday in Ordinary Time

Dear Parishioners,

Today, the second collection will be for the Catholic Communication Campaign (CCC). Your support helps CCC engage and build Catholic communities in the United States and around the world using the internet, television, radio, and print media. Half of the funds we collect remain in the Archdiocese of New Orleans to support local efforts. Be a part of this campaign to spread the Gospel message.

The second collection this weekend is for the Catholic Communication Campaign.

The Louisiana state Priests convention will be held from Monday, September 19 th through Wednesday, September 21 st . All priests of the Archdiocese of New Orleans are required to attend. There will be no Mass on Tuesday, September 20th and Wednesday, September 21st .

Remember Family Day is on Sunday, September 25th. Hot dogs, hamburgers, and soft drinks or water will be served at no cost to the parishioners. Parishioners are invited to bring a dessert to share. This is the first time in two years that we can gather to celebrate Family Day. I hope to see you there.

The Blessing of Pets will be on Sunday, October 2nd at 10:00 A.M. near the Veterans Memorial Flagpole.

The special second collection for the air conditioning unit will be the weekend of September 24th and 25th .
