The Christian life is one of following the way of Christ. Jesus calls us out of our “worldliness,” out of our habits and attachments to follow His way. God’s call is a daunting invitation and demands a wholehearted commitment. After we encounter the Lord, He sends us out to proclaim the truth of His kingdom.
Our monthly Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament will be on Wednesday, July 3rd. This month because of the Independence Day celebration being held on church grounds, the times for adoration will change. Adoration will begin immediately following the 6:30 A.M. Mass and conclude with Benediction at 11:30 A.M.
The annual Independence Day Celebration sponsored by St. John the Baptist Parish will be on Wednesday, July 3rd on the grounds of St. Peter Church in Reserve and St. John the Baptist Church in Edgard.
