Dear Parishioners;
ALLELUIA! The Lord is risen as He promised! ALLELUIA! This is the day that the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it. As we celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus from the dead, we are filled with joy. We are filled with hope for the sacrifice He made on the cross has opened the way to eternal life. Jesus’ sacrifice is our salvation. As we gather with family and friends on this Easter day we are filled with praise for Jesus the Christ, has won victory over the grave. He has redeemed humanity.
The second collection this weekend is for the Church Roof. I ask for your generosity.
Next week, we will take up the Catholic Home Missions Appeal. Over forty percent (40%) of the diocese in the United States are considered mission territory because they are unable to fund essential pastoral work in their communities. Your support of this appeal eases the struggle of these dioceses. Please prayerfully consider how you can support this appeal.
