Dear Parishioners;
This week Sunday, January 28
th through Saturday, February 3
rd is
Catholic Schools Week. At St. Peter’s we extend our celebration of Catholic Schools week, for one additional day with the annual Monsignor Eyraud Mass and Alumni Day. National Catholic Schools Week is sponsored by the National Catholic Educational Association (NCEA) in the United States. Ironically, other countries of the world also celebrate Catholic Schools Week, but at various times of the year.
The theme this year for Catholic Schools week is
“Catholic Schools: Learn, Lead, Succeed.” For eighty (87) years, St. Peter School has been a driving force of Catholic education to many in the River Parish area. Each day, our students, faculty, staff, volunteers, and most importantly, parents help us to achieve our spiritual and academic goals, where we
“Live, Love, and Learn as Jesus Did.” Our doors are always open. Please call the school office at 985-536-4296 for a private tour of St. Peter Campus. Invite your family and friends to
come see what St. Peter School has to offer and consider becoming a part of our family.
The second collection this weekend is for he
Champions of Education Fund. This money goes to the Archdiocese where a special fund is designated to help struggling families who want to send their children to a Catholic school, but are facing financial challenges.
Next weekend, the
second collection will be for St. Peter School.
Have a Blessed Week!
