5th Sunday in Ordinary Time

Dear Parishioners,

CONGRATULATIONS to St. Peter School on receiving accreditation from Cognia, formerly AdvanceEd. At this time, I would especially like to thank Mrs. Marie Comeaux, principal of St. Peter School, the faculty, staff, students, and parents for all the hard work that was done to accomplish this major task.

The second collection this weekend is the annual collection for St. Peter School. I ask for your continued support and generosity with this collection.

Normally, we would end Catholic Schools Week on this Sunday with the annual Alumni Day Mass and gumbo dinner; however, with the continuing challenges that we all face with COVID19, it was decided that we would not have it this year. Hopefully we will be able to have the celebration in 2023.

The Msgr. Eyraud Knight of Columbus will have a dinner on Sunday, February 13th for pick up only. Please see the flyer in today’s bulletin for further information.
