4th Sunday of Easter - Good Shepherd Sunday

Dear Parishioners,

The Fourth Sunday of Easter is also known as Good Shepherd Sunday because in the three-year cycle of the Lectionary, the Gospel for each cycle is from the tenth chapter of Saint John’s Gospel in which Jesus teaches that He is the Good Shepherd.

The second collection this weekend is for the Diocesan Retired Priests. This special collection will be used to support the medical and retirement expenses of the Archdiocesan retired priests.

The First Communion candidates will have a retreat on Saturday, April 27 th from 9:00 A.M. until 11:30 A.M. in the Lacour Center. Please keep them in your prayers as they make final preparations to receive their First Holy Communion.
