32nd Sunday in Ordinary Time

Dear Parishioners,

The Gospel parable of the wise and foolish virgins remind us to keep vigil for Jesus. It is easy to get distracted by the details of work, family life, and other responsibilities so that we forget the real purpose and mission of our lives. As we begin this week, take some time to reflect on how we can live out our vocation in life—readying ourselves for the
LORD’S coming.  

The second collection this weekend is for the Msgr. Eyraud Education Fund.  

Next week the second collection will support the Catholic Campaign for Human Development.  More than 17 million people in the United States live in poverty. This collection supports programs that empower people to identify and address the obstacles

Before you know it, Thanksgiving Day will be upon us. Please join me and your fellow parishioners and friends of St. Peter Parish for Mass on Thanksgiving Day, November 23rd at 8:00 A.M.
