32nd Sunday in Ordinary Time

Dear Parishioners,

Today’s Scripture Readings show difficult situations, whether physical in the first reading or moral in the Gospel. In each setting, the Scripture lifts our sights to what is most important. We are the children of God, and our strength is in the Lord. This is what truly matters in the world, no matter what we might face.

The second collection this weekend is for the Building Maintenance Fund.

On Monday, November 7th, Archbishop Alfred C. Hughes, Archbishop Emeritus, will celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation at 7:00 P.M. All parishioners are invited to attend the Confirmation. Please pray for our Confirmation candidates for openness to the Holy Spirit in their lives.

On Friday, November 11th is Veterans Day. Thanks to all men and women from our community who served in the Armed Forces. Also, November 11th is the birthday of Msgr. Jean M. Eyraud. May he continue to intercede for us.

The second collection next weekend, November 12th -13th is for the Msgr. Eyraud Education Fund. I ask for your continued support of this collection.
