On Monday, November 11 th , we celebrate Veterans Day. It is a day dedicated to all member of the United States Armed Forces who served God and country as being part of the Armed Forces. For those men and women who served in the Armed Forces, as well as those who are currently serving in the Armed Forces, I thank you for your commitment to God and country.
Also on Monday, November 11 th we celebrate the birthday of our beloved pastor, Monsignor Jean M. Eyraud. Although the process for canonization has been halted, I believe we all know that Msgr. Eyraud is indeed a saint, who continually intercedes for his beloved parish of St. Peter.
The second collection today is for the Msgr. Eyraud Educational Fund.
Just a friendly reminder to our High School students preparing for Confirmation. You will have a Holy Hour on Tuesday, November 12 th at 6:00 P.M. in the day chapel. I am also opening it up to parents of students preparing for Confirmation as well as all parishioners.
The second collection next weekend will be for the Church Roof.
