What kind of attitude do we bring with us to Mass each weekend? Do we feel proud of ourselves for what we have accomplished this week; or do we feel inadequate— sorry for all the times we’ve failed— aware of our human weaknesses? As we celebrate the Eucharist together, let us examine our consciences and recognize our need for God’s mercy. The more we recognize our need for God and His mercy, the more we can open ourselves up to the grace He wishes to pour out on us.
The second collection this weekend is for the Church Roof. I ask for your generosity.
