26th Sunday in Ordinary Time

Dear Parishioners;

            Family Day was a huge success!!  I want to thank all who were responsible for organizing the day, especially the Evangelization Committee. It was amazing to see so many people at the Family Day picnic—the young and not so young of our parish family.  We came together as one to celebrate our church family.  Once again THANK YOU for all that you do for St. Peter Parish.

            The second collection this weekend is for the Church roof. I ask for your continued geneerosity.

            The Phase III Confirmation candidates will celebrate the Rite of Naming/Election today at the 11:00 A.M. Mass.  They will receive the Sacrament of Confirmation on Monday, November 5 ^th from Archbishop Aymond.  Please keep the Confirmation candidates in your prayer.

            Wednesday, October 3^rd  is our monthly Adoration and Benediction.  Adoraton begins at 1:00 P.M. and concludes with Benediction at 6:00 P.M.

            In observance of the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, the Blessing of Animals/Pets will take place on Saturday, October 6^th at 11:00 A.M., in the rear of the church parking lot near the Veterans’ Flag Pole. 

            The annual Rosary Procession will take place on Sunday, October 7^th immediately following the 8:00 A.M. Mass.  For those unable to walk in the procession, the Rosary will be prayed in church.
