24th Sunday in Ordinary Time

Dear Parishioners;

The second collection today is for the Catholic Communications Campaign. This campaign connects people with Christ through the Internet, television, radio, and print media. Fully 50% of the funds we collect stays right here in the Archdiocese of New Orleans to support local communications projects. The other 50% of the funds support national communications efforts as well as projects in developing countries. This collection connects people around the world to the Gospel message.

 St. Peter School will celebrate Grandparents Day on Friday, September 20th, beginning with Mass at 9:30 A.M. in church.

 The annual Priests Convocation will be held Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday, September 24, 25, 26, 2019. All priests of the Archdiocese of New Orleans are required to attend. There will be no morning Mass on Wednesday and Thursday, September 25 th and 26th. Deacon Richard will lead a Liturgy of the Word Prayer Service with Holy Communion on those days.

 I invite all parishioners to our annual Family Day activities on Sunday, September 22 nd . Activities begin immediately following the 11:00 A.M. Mass. Please see the bulletin for further information.
