Our human understanding limits us, and so Scripture and the Church provide teachings that help us to know, love, and trust in God. Today’s readings paint the picture of banquets, from the sumptuous table set by Wisdom to the Eucharistic meal that Jesus introduces. Just as Wisdom’s feast offers more than simple food and drink, Jesus’ Body and Blood offer more: eternal life and Christ himself.
The second collection this weekend is for the Church roof. I ask for your generosity.

Each year every church parish participate in the Missionary Cooperative Plan. There are three goals of the Missionary Cooperative Plan: 1) to educate the people of the Archdiocese regarding the missionary work of Christ, 20 to solicit prayers and financial support for the missionaries, and 3) to harmonize missionary efforts and guarantee a fair distribution of aid.
The weekend of
