Our Monthly Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament is Wednesday, August 7 th . Adoration begins at 1:00 P.M. and concludes with Benediction at 6:00 P.M.
Well, summer vacation has ended. St. Peter School will begin the new year on Thursday, August 8 th . It’s not too late to register your child for school. I’m looking forward to welcoming all families, students, faculty and staff for a grace-filled school year.
Religious education classes (CCD) for students in elementary school not attending a Catholic school will begin on Saturday, August 10 th . Classes are from 8:30 A.M.-10:00 A.M.
Have you noticed the Pieta, that’s the statue of our Blessed Mother, Mary holding her Son, Jesus after He was taken off the Cross? A few weeks ago, it was restored by Godfrey Studio of Ecclesiastical Art. The cost of the project was $2500. The Ladies Altar Society donated $500.00 toward the project. If any individual or organization would like to contribute to the project, donations are greatly appreciated.
